Rakul Preet on cloud nine after being compared to Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit

Rakul Preet who makes her debut in Bollywood with Divya Kumar’s directorial debut in T-Series’ Yaariyan is flattered. While shooting for the film, she was shocked to no extent when her senior co-star Deepti Naval praised Rakul to no extent comparing her with the likes of Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. “I’m pleasantly surprised as much as I am delighted with the praise,” she beams. The newbie is a trained Bharat Natyam dancer and Deepti Naval is keen that she pursues dance more seriously. “Deepti m’am feels I should capitalize on my Indian looks and hone my dancing skills. She told me that she felt that none except me has taken the place of Madhuri or Sridevi.” Earlier, Rakul proved her versatility starting out with films in the South. She also made her mark a year ago, when she participated in the Miss India beauty pageant. The teenager won various titles like Miss India People’s Choice, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Fresh Face, Miss Talented and emerged the third runner-up finalist.
