MUMBAI :Palak Purswani is a known personality on television and has a good fan following.
She is best known for her role in the serial “Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke” and has been a part of many web series.
The actress these days was grabbing the headlines for her stint in the Bigg Boss house, where she played the game well. But somewhere, she couldn’t connect to the audience and hence, was eliminated from the show.
She was seen as one of the strong contestants of the show and her elimination came as a shock to the contestants and audience.
Her friendship with Akanksha Puri and Jiya Shankar was spoken about and of course, her tiff with Avinash Tiwary and Pooja Bhatt made news outside the house.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her if she feels that Salman Khan was biased towards Bebika and Pooja. She also shared her views on how differently would she play the game if she enters the house as a wild card contestant.
If not you, who should have got evicted from the show?
If not me, I feel Bebika or Jiya should have got eliminated from the show as their contribution to the show had been very less. I could have done a lot of things and in those 4 -5 days, I gave my best. I fought back. I didn’t give out my entire game plan. If I knew my journey was so short, I would have taken the entire house over my head.
If you get a chance to enter the house as a wild card entry, how different would you play the game?
I would go inside as my opinions about certain people have changed. People who are lying would be in big trouble. I will expose Avinash in front of everyone as he is the biggest liar in the house.
What do you have to say about the news doing rounds about Jiya having feelings for Avinash?
I feel like laughing. Good luck to her. I have gone to the torture, now it’s her chance. When she gets to know the reality of him, we will see. After my eviction, she said that I was right about him. She knows what I have gone through. If she has feelings and wants to ahead, there is no one as stupid as her.
Do you think that during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman was biased by talking about Bebika Dhurve and Pooja Bhatt?
I don’t think he was biased. I felt that the wrong things were supported. Especially Pooja Bhatt. If you encourage someone to become bad, their ego gets boosted and they wouldn’t realize their mistake. At first, she had problems with me, but she didn't have any problems with people she was hanging around with. She does have a favourite and as per convenience, she lets down people.
Well, although Palak's stay was cut short, fans did connect with her and like her game. She was opening up in the game but somewhere, she couldn’t connect much with the audience.
