Exclusive! Suhail Nayyar on his chemistry with Shriya Pilgaonkar in Ishq-e-Nadaan, “When you are comfortable with your co-actor, your chemistry follows suit”

MUMBAI : Suhail Nayyar was last seen in the OTT series Jee Karda and his performance in it was liked by one and all. The actor is now gearing up for his next release titled Ishq-e-Nadaan in which he is paired opposite Shriya Pilgaonkar.

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Suhail and spoke to him about the series, his chemistry with Shriya and more...

Tell us something about your character in Ishq-e-Nadaan.

My character’s name is Piyush and he is not like me at all (laughs). He is not as ambitious as me; he is a very happy-go-lucky kind of a guy and he doesn’t take life very seriously. But, in his life a very ambitious girl comes and they become friends, and a sweet romance brews between them. So, that’s the story.

In the trailer, we only get to see you with Shriya Pilgaonkar. But, in the movie, have you shared screen space with other actors like Lara Dutta, Neena Gupta, and others?

Our stories are connected in a way, but we don’t really share the screen with them.

In a romantic film, chemistry between the lead actors is very important. So, how easy or difficult was it to get the chemistry right with Shriya?

It was very easy. She is such a giving co-actor and she is so talented that your job gets easier. So, it was very easy and breezy to work with Shriya. When you are comfortable with your co-actor then your chemistry follows suit.
