MUMBAI:  Amazon Mini TV's new movie Rakshak - India's Braves has got everything to make you feel proud of our Indian army and our country. It is going to make you feel the emotions which the soldiers and their family members go through. The movie has got the right amount of intensity, emotions love and action. Rakshak is a series which tells the story of the Indian army's bravery, their sacrifices and their passion towards the nation. It urges the audience to remember the bravery of Indian soldiers and how they risk their lives for the nation. This is not just a movie or a story of a soldier; rather, it is a medium which urges every citizen to be proud of their army and always respect them.

The movie is based on the terrorist attacks that happened at the Jammu Railway Station on January 2, 2004. It tells the story of Lieutenant Triveni Singh of 5 Jammu Kashmir Light Infantry, who killed two heavily armed militants at the Jammu railway station, and saved hundreds of passengers at the platform before he succumbed to his injuries and sacrificed his life.

The story starts with the planning of terrorists and continues to show their development and army trying to decode what kind of attack can take place and where it might happen. Along with all the developments, it also shows the personal life of Lt. Triveni Singh, who is going to get married once he returns from his duty.

There is a continuous conflict between the army and terrorists. At times, they get very close to the attackers, but unfortunately can't prevent the attack from happening. In the climax, we have the Indian army coming into the railway station. They rescue the civilians and kill the terrorists after a long cross firing session.

Directed by Akshay Chaubey, and having Varun Mitra, Kanika Mann, Mrinal Naval, Mrinal Kulkarni, and Mohit Chauhan in the lead roles, the film has done exceptional work when it comes to putting the story out to the audience. The developments are quick and likewise, the climax is quick as well, which might be of a little concern. But all in all, the story telling, the screenplay and the work done by the makers and artists is incredibly well.

This Independence Day, Rakshak is a must watch as it tells us the bravery and tranquillity of our soldiers, even in the situation of panic. It reminds us about the glorious power which resides within our Indian army.

Team Tellychakkar goes with 3.5/5 for Rakshak India's Braves.
