Rajesh-Rajeev shocked by their ouster from CC

Favourites don’t often win in reality shows and this is holding true on Comedy Circus 2. First it was Sayantani Ghosh- Kuldeep Dubey and last week Rajesh Kumar and Rajeev Nigam were eliminated from Comedy Circus 2. Apparently, Rajeev Nigam was distracted by the loosening of his kurta string and in the process twice forgot his lines. However, without being too critical of this folly, the judges found their act good and awarded them good marks. However, in the final analysis, the combined judge and audience votes went against Rajeev and Rajesh. Rajeev Nigam was extremely disappointed with the result and, without being too aggressive, he stated that he didn’t know how fair was the elimination process but he didn’t expect to go out today. A peeved Rajeev says, “I didn’t watch the episode but what I’ve learned is that we’ve been presented as sore losers. I didn’t expect them to show this. Well, I did raise my concern with regards to the elimination process and they’ve edited most of our content. I’m still clueless as to what’s the criterion for elimination. I don’t how fair is the audience voting. All the good performers are going out one by one. Rajiv Thakur, who I think must be have been in the bottom two many times has still managed to survive.” Rajeev’s partner Rajesh was more diplomatic. “I don’t want sound a loser but it’s disappointing that we were out with just one bad performance. Rajeev said a lot but it was in all in the spur of the moment. These things happen in a reality show and one needs to move ahead.”
