MUMBAI: COLORS' new magnum opus show, ‘Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav’ delves into the first love story of the universe, exploring the journey of lord Shiva and goddess Parvati’s love, duty, sacrifice, and separation that translates into tap, tyaag, and Taandav.
Created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, the show stars popular actors Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput in the lead roles of Shiv and Shakti respectively.
The show has received an overwhelmingly great response and fans have taken to the show almost immediately; its success has raised a question of how the show has managed to win over the audiences.

Earlier, Rohini urges Lord Shiva to fulfil the promise he had made on his wedding day with Sati.

In the upcoming episodes of the show, as Lord Shiva decides to quit everything and walk away, Lord Vishnu foresees that mankind and deities will grow apart.
Lord Shiva is persuaded to regain his life by Narad and Nandi, while the birth of Vajrangi's child, Tarkasur, is imminent. Lord Shiva is also infuriated as the devotion towards him among his followers grows.
