MUMBAI: Shweta Tripathi was recently seen in Jio Cinema’s series Kaalkoot which also stars Vijay Varma in the lead role. The series has received a good response, and even Shweta’s performance in it is being appreciated.
TellyChakkar recently interacted with Shweta and when asked what she looks forward to before saying a yes to a project, the actress said, “When it comes to choosing the script, there is only one thing that I have followed, which is, ‘what is my emotional response to the material I am reading or listening; what do we want to communicate to the audience or what do we want them to see’.”
When asked about an update on Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2 and Mirzapur 3, Shweta said, “we are going to start shooting Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2 towards the last quarter of this year. I have read a few scenes, and I enjoyed reading it. Mirzapur season 3 is in post-production and we have no idea about the release date, we also keep on asking (the makers).”
Shweta Tripathi has been in the industry for more than a decade. She has been a part of many movies and OTT series like Masaan, Haraamkhor, Gone Kesh, Raat Akeli Hai, Mirzapur, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, and more.
