MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is always doing well with the ratings. The show took a huge turn post the leap and Imlie and Chini are now all grown up. Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor play the leads with Karan Vohra. The current track is about the show taking a 5 year leap.

Previously, Agastya’s world comes crumbling down when his brother commits suicide and leaves a suicide note behind saying never to trust any poor girl.
This triggers Agastya’s hate for poor people from thereon as he now assumes that a poor girl abetted his brother’s death.
The reality is however far from it, as Agastya did not commit suicide but was murdered.
His brother and Kairi both passed away tragically due to a pre-planned car accident by someone in the Chaudhary family.
Meanwhile, Imlie will learn the truth that Kairi’s husband and Ashu’s father are none other than Agastya’s brother.
She will also learn the hard truth that their death was a pre-planned murder.
