MUMBAI: Harsh Rajput is a popular name in the television industry.
We all know that he has been a part of several TV shows for which he has won accolades for his fine performances.
Harsh's notable works include in shows like Nazar, Pishachini, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Hitler Didi, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and many more.
The actor has now entered Star Plus' show Teri Meri Doriyaann and the ardent fans are looking forward to his amazing journey.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Harsh who spoke about his character and much more.
How did you bag this show? What were your thoughts when you were offered this role?
I was in Goa when I got a call for this show. I was on a vacation. The moment I heard about this character Romi, the first thought that came in my mind was that I have to do this. I have not played such a character ever in my career. It is a very interesting character and I am enjoying it. It's just 3 to 4 days since I have started shooting for the show.
It is very challenging for me to play this character. I had said yes for the role when I was in Goa. I cut short my trip and came back to start shooting for it. I am very happy and grateful about it.
You have done all the positive roles till now and this one is a negative one. What are your thoughts on it?
I won't call this a negative character. I will prefer calling it an 'Anti-Hero'. As an actor, I had to challenge myself, so I didn't think much about it and said yes to it.
Tell us about your bond with the star cast.
The bonding has been great till now. I have known Vijayendra for years. He is a wonderful human being. Himanshi is also really good. I did not feel that I am coming to work on a new set with new people. It's been a long time since the show has been running but no one made me feel like a newcomer. Everyone is very warm.
