MUMBAI: A lot of new shows are in the pipeline and will soon go on the floors. Some are all set for launches in the coming days. Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.The show will be produced by DJ’s – A Creative Unit, which have been active in the industry for more than 20 years, and has been the name behind some of the biggest shows like ‘Just Mohabbat’, ‘Left Right Left’, ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’, ‘Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi’, ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahan’, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, ‘Chotti Bahu’, ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’, and more. Teh current track is about Shubh forcing Kavya to give her IAS seat to him.
Kavya and Shubh who have been in love with each other since 8 years are now IAS aspirants.
However when the final interview takes place only Kavya makes it and gets an IAS seat.
This will trigger Shubh’s male ego and he will make an unreasonable demand to give her seat to him as he is her fiancee.
This will put her in a dilemma as she finds his demand illogical. Strangely enough Pradhan Giriraj will label Kavya as a chudail not Aurat as she cannot keep her soon-to-be husband happy.
Now, Kavya will go through a turbulent time as not only Shubh but also his parents are forcing her to give up her seat to Shubh.
However, Kavya will not be convinced to give up on something that she worked so hard for and be a sacrificial lamb for nothing.
