MUMBAI: Actress Neha Mehta, who quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah two years ago, has not worked on any TV show after she bid adieu to the show. The actress, who recently finished shooting for a Gujarati film, revealed that she is yet to receive her pending dues from the makers of Taarak Mehta.
Neha played the role of Anjali for 12 years in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Post Taarak Mehta, Neha hasn't bagged another show on TV. However, she is waiting for good offers to come her way. Meanwhile, she is focusing on her production house and is yet to come up with a web show soon.

Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actress and we asked her a lot of questions about her morning routine.
Can you tell us what your morning ritual looks like?
If I don’t work the next day or if I have an excursion for 2-3 days, I sleep till 10am otherwise my sister, who is also my personal lady, wakes me up by 6.30 am, after which we go downstairs where we have a big passage and we take some sunlight because in 2 years I have taken a lot of training for Back to basics, organic farming, and cow breeding. The training period begins early in the morning. After all that I do free exercise. I’m not going to the gym but I’m very connected to nature in my morning routine. I drink hot water but I advise you not to drink hot water in silverware. Cold water is okay. We should drink hot water in glassware or copperware. After that, we go and walk on the grass. I detox and don’t eat anything in the morning. There are a lot of changes in my body and if you see after 2 months, you will see more changes because now it’s time for me to fill myself with food. Earlier, all the food got flushed out of my body. So this is my morning routine. I then eat Bajra for breakfast. I also have salads, bitter gourd juice, white pumpkin juice. I also make spinach juice, lemon, and honey sherbet. You can ask for tips anytime.
If you had to choose between Yoga and gym, what would you prefer?
Yoga. There are various types of yogas. But yes, I do Meditation, Yoga, and free exercise. Gym should be done with an instructor. You need strength to lift any instrument. For example, we are artists but to lift a camera or a baby light, we need other people and they are the ones who can show my beauty. If I want to lift the camera, I need their guidance. I won’t say if the gym is wrong or right but don’t do it without an instructor.
How long do you take for your morning routine?
1 and a half hours minimum to begin my day and then it depends on how the day is going to be after 10 am generally office hours start, so it depends on where I have to go.
Which is the most important task of your morning routine for you?
Taking a bath. After finishing the whole routine I feel like I don’t wanna do anything but I know that I will have to go and take a bath because I have to put the ‘diya’ before 11 am. I know that ideally, it has to be before 8.30 am but I think compromising has become a habit like please do diya before lunchtime. If it was up to me I would do it even without taking a bath because, to be honest, no one would do such a positive task after going to the washroom. It’s about purity so we should take a bath.
