MUMBAI: Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.

Kavya's reality is one step closer to meeting her dreams of becoming an IAS officer.
However, on seeing Jaydeep as her head, she won't be able to keep calm.
Jaydeep Thakur happens to be Kavya's teacher who inspired her to become an IAS Officer but in return he wanted her to give her seat to his son.
Kavya did not make that sacrifice, leaving him furious and so he is here to teach Kavya a lesson.
Jaydeep will try to prove Kavya as incompetent and not let her become a successful IAS Officer.
