Amit Anand Raut, who has earlier been seen in projects such as ‘Imlie’ on Star Plus and ‘Khakhee: The Bihar Chapter’ plays an integral role of Bittu in the show.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Amit spoke about how challenging is it to play a dark character and how he has prepped for it.

Amit avers, “Firstly, this show has a fresh concept which has not been explored much in the television space. I have been receiving a positive response for my character and I have worked hard to shape it. Infact, the laughter which you hear on-screen is not my actual laugh, I have modulated my voice. I have made a lot of improvisations to my character as well.”

Shedding light on his journey, Amit expressed, “I hail from a small village in Bihar and I did not have money or contacts. All I knew was that I want to fulfill my dreams and I had self-confidence and hardwork. I have struggled a lot to reach where I am and honestly, I take inspiration from my own struggles to play out my character. My character is like a pickle. Bittu is extremely loyal to his Sarkar and along with that, there are several layers to my personality.”
