MUMBAI :Actor, writer, director, composer and producer Vinod Tharani’s short film under the banner of Konman Kathakaar Films was selected to screen at the Jio Cinema Short Film Festival.
His journey has been full of ups and downs and he proves that when you believe in something and you set out to achieve it, that is when you get the power of storytelling. Tharani faced many challenges before his project was a mega success. Tharani, in the past has penned many popular GEC shows and then, he has written, directed, acted and produced ‘Machis Ki Dibiya’.
The short film got recognition at many film festivals like Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, Goa Short Film Festival, Pune International Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival and Standalone Film Festival in USA. Now, that the film was screened at the Jio Cinema Short Film Festival which is themed ‘20 days, 20 premiers’ on October 14.
Tharani shares that he feels blessed to share the platform with such talented writers, actors, directors, producers and technicians. He shares “This is just the beginning; I have so many stories to tell. I am thankful to the Jio Cinema team. A little validation encourages many young talents. I am very excited as the film will be screened among talented gems of the industry.”
