OMG! Shahid Kapoor's web series 'Farzi' inspires men in Mumbai to earn profit from fake garba passes

MUMBAI : The question of whether television shows or movies are more likely to incite pipes in real life frequently sparks online discussion. Yes, to a great extent, and this most recent incident is a prime illustration of how the Shahid Kapoor web series encouraged the Mumbai males to execute this crime. This is quite disturbing and concerning. According to reports, a graphic designer in Mumbai who took inspiration from Farzi was detained after he allegedly made and tried to sell 1,000 fake garba passes in the city in an effort to make Rs 30 lakh.

According to news reports, the Borivali, Mumbai, and Durgadevi Navratra Utsav Samiti event was attended by individuals named Karan Shah, Kavish Patil, Darshan Gohil, and Parvesh Nevrekar. On Sunday, local police detained these men for their alleged involvement in the conspiracy to create bogus passes for the event. The tickets' initial price range was between 3000 and 3800 rupees, however the scheme's mastermind Karan Shah created phony passes with a value of 2600 rupees.

After being detained, Karan Shah said during inquiry was influenced by Shahid Kapoor's Farzi. " During interrogation, Shah admitted that he was inspired by Shahid Kapoor’s web series Farzi to make fake passes of the event and earn quick money".

Earlier, Shahid Kapoor's hit movie Kabir Singh was criticized for being troublesome since many men believed he treated Preeti right and that his obsessive and possessive behavior toward her was fair. The audience should be aware of when to stop being inspired by actors when they play parts that are obvious red flags.

Shahid Kapoor responded to Kabir Singh's criticism of his persona by saying, "This word, misogyny was often used for the film. Misogyny, I think, means prejudice towards women. But Kabir Singh had a problem with everyone. He had a problem with his father, his brother, he abuses everyone. He has a problem with his friends, his principal… just everyone. How does he have a problem towards women? I felt he was behaving badly with everyone".
