MUMBAI:COLORS' new magnum opus show, ‘Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav’ delves into the first love story of the universe, exploring the journey of lord Shiva and goddess Parvati’s love, duty, sacrifice, and separation that translates into tap, tying, and Taandav.
Created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, the show stars popular actors Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput in the lead roles of Shiv and Shakti respectively.
The show has received an overwhelmingly great response and fans have taken to the show almost immediately its success has raised a question, of how the show has managed to win over the audiences.
Previously, the mother of Parvati, Mainavati is not happy with her daughter's marriage to Mahadev. Parvati tries to convince her that she didn't betray her. She genuinely loves Mahadev, and love is about discovering our own self. She feels nothing wrong in it.
Now, Mainavati and Uma unite to manipulate Parvati into marrying Vishnu in the guise of Shiva. Mainavati, observing Parvati's distress, falsely claims that she can marry Lord Shiva. However, Parvati's intuition leads her to doubt the deception and she demands Vishnu to reveal his true identity, all the while questioning Mainavati's involvement in this deceitful plan.
Caught off guard, Mainavati attempts to shift the blame onto Uma. In response, Uma attempts to make Mainavati aware of her own ego and pride. This prompts Mainavati to inquire about Uma's true identity, which results in Uma and Parvati revealing their divine forms, Adi Shakti and Mahadev.
Witnessing her daughter's divinity, Mainavati has a change of heart and consents to the marriage between Parvati and Shiva. The news of Shiva and Parvati's impending wedding spreads rapidly, and Shiva returns to Kailash, instructing Nandi to commence the wedding preparations.
Will the marriage between Parvati and Shiva be concluded without any consequences?
