MUMBAI: Supriya Pathak is one the finest actresses of the Indian Film industry. She has made a mark with several films like Bazaar, Wake up Sid!, Khichdi, Mimi and many more. The actress who is married to Pankaj Kapoor after his divorce with first wife Neelima Azeem has two children with him; Sanah Kapur and Ruhaan Kapur. She has now spoken about her bond with her step son Shahid and grandkids Misha and Zain. When Supriya met Pankaj, he was already a father to Shahid.
During the promotion of her film Gangster Ganga, Supriya said, “Shahid is my son, and his kids are my grandchildren. I share a great bond with both my grandchildren, and as a family, we all put in efforts to strengthen our bonds.”

Supriya further stated, “We are family oriented and believe in sticking together through thick and thin. I feel generations pass, the bonds within families evolve. I have a friendlier and more open relationship with my daughter than I had with my mother.”

Supriya in a previous interview revealed that her mother Dina Pathak was totally against her marrying Pankaj. Even after she had her two kids, she was not in favor of her marriage. The only one who supported her marriage was her sister actress Ratna Pathak Shah.
Speaking of meeting Shahid as a kid, she said, “I met Shahid when he was six years old. So, for me, he was the cutest baby I’d seen. He was such a lovely child. He was very warm and he did not have any defiant reactions towards me, and nor did I have them too. So, when we met, we instantly liked each other as people. And I think that is what just carried on. Though there were a lot of times when he was not with us, so whenever he would come and we kind of always… we reacted to each other as people.”
