MUMBAI :Presenting such a passionate love story, COLORS’ upcoming show ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ traces the journey of two childhood sweethearts, Dev and Tara who once brought solace in each other’s lives, but a turn of fate leads them astray. The very forces that once bound them, compel them to lead separate lives, but serendipitously their paths cross.
With a fresh pairing of popular actors, Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann, essaying the lead roles of Dev and Tara respectively, the story of 'Chand Jalne Laga' unfolds against the backdrop of a beautiful vineyard.

After fifteen years, Deva reappears in disguise of Mr. Malik. When Deva takes Tara's Haveli under the Malik Estate, Tara loses it.
Tara accepts Deva's challenge to a horse race, and she is sure she will win both the race and her Haveli.
However, she remembers Deva from her childhood, and that's when she trips and falls down.
Tara recognizes Deva, will ultimately lead everything to shift.
When Deva calls Badshah, he is singing the same songs he did when he was younger.
As Tara sees Mr. Malik acting just like her Deva, she starts to think back on Deva.
Tara ultimately understands that Mr. Malik is none other than her Deva when she phones Badshah and he hangs up.
Will Tara be able to regain Deva's faith?
