MUMBAI : The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is slated to open in theaters in December. The Archies will mark the acting debuts of Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor.

The film has a strong cast that includes Yuvraj Menda, Aditi 'Dot' Saigal, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and others. The Archies is a coming-of-age musical that follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton while transporting viewers to the fictional hill town of Riverdale. The Archies examines themes of freedom, heartbreak, friendship, love, and rebellion from the perspective of the unique Anglo-Indian community.
