MUMBAI: The Kannada film Kantara, which starred Rishab Shetty in the lead role, is one of the biggest hits of 2022. The film was even directed by Rishab Shetty. Following the tremendous success of the Kannada version, the makers of Kantara decided to dub and release the film in a number of languages, including Hindi, which debuted in theatres on September 30, 2022.
The film's outstanding global gross collection reached the 400 Cr mark in 53 days, and its Hindi version brought in Rs. 79.25 Cr.
At a lavish celebration marking the completion of the film's 100 days of distribution, the Kantara team revealed plans to create a prequel.

The movie will release in 7 languages and after watching the teaser, the audiences have really lost it as the teaser doesn’t just look exciting but also makes the fans of the movie eager to watch it.
Kantara was loved by the audience as it really had a never seen before storyline and Rishab Shetty really gave his best which made the audience fall in love with him too.
Now the audience will really look forward to the prequel for sure.
