Utkarsha Naik to take over Sucheta Trivedi's role in Life OK's Savitri

Utkarsha Naik who recently shot for a meaty role in Zee TV’s Fear Files has bagged her next challenging assignment in daily fiction. The lady who got popular for her character in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon will now enter the new story line of Life OK’s Savitri (Flying Turtle Films). As we know, the show opens a new chapter from today (5 July) wherein the plot dates back to the 1000 years era. Utkarsha will essay the role of the Maharani (wife to actor Salil Ankola) and mother to Princess Damayanti (Ridhi Dogra). Earlier, the role was played by Sucheta Trivedi who has reportedly bagged a pivotal role in Hats Off Productions’ next for Zee TV. We tried calling Utkarsha, but could not get through to her. We hear that the family of Damayanti will be introduced in today’s episode (5 July 2013). Damayanti whose look will more or less be the same, will be introduced in a sword fight sequence wherein she will be seen fighting with her three friends. The girls who play her friends are newbies to the industry. Damayanti’s parents will be shown to be over-protective about their daughter. She is not allowed to go out of her kingdom alone; she is always protected by her guards and also by her friends. Get ready for the fresh new story line in Savitri…
