MUMBAI : Mahesh has been a part of the entertainment industry for over two decades and has done some incredible work in the South film industry. He is a name to reckon with in the Telugu film industry. His upcoming film Guntur Kaaram has been in the news ever since its announcement. The superstar recently hosted a pre-release event in Andhra Pradesh where hundreds of fans gathered at Namburu Cross Road in Guntur.

Things however soon went out of control as a stampede ensued. Shockingly a police officer on duty got severely injured. Fans went out of control at the event due to which the cops had to resort to lathi charge. A video has gone viral where the fans are seen pushing on the police barricades and also throwing chairs at each other.

Guntur Kaarma will hit cinema halls on 12th January. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj and Sunil.
