MUMBAI:The episode starts with Shiv grinding herbs to treat Kartikeya’s wounds and Parvati preparing feast for Kartikeya’s welcome. Gan tells Parvati that the food smells very nice, it must be even tasting good. Nandi says when mother is preparing food, it would obviously smell and taste good. Parvati says she prepared Kartikeya’s favorite food to welcome him. Guard informs Shiv and Parvati that gods are coming. Parvati congratulates Shiv that their son is returning victorious, she will go and welcome them. She stands at the door early looking for Kartikeya. All gods walk in silently. Parvati asks Narayan where is her son. Narayan says Kartikeya didn’t return.
Narad says Kartikeya walks walking towards Kailash with gods, but then stopped seeing Saptarishi ashram. He goes into flashback where Kartikeya refuses to go beyond and says he will return to his mothers; as promised to Shiv, he won the war but will not return to Kailash with gods; their journey was only till her. Parvati tells Mahadev that they shall go and bring back their son to Kailash.
Kartikeya walks to Kritikas. Kritikas gets happy, emotionally hug and pamper him. He says he has returned to stay with them forever. Surupa says he should return to Kailash. Kartikeya says if they don’t accept him, he will go and stay somewhere else. Mahadev tells Parvati that it’s up to Kartikeya where he wants to stay, they can’t force him. Parvati says a father’s heard may be strong, but a mother’s heart is very soft and can’t live without her son. She alone goes to ashram to bring back Kartikeya and requests him to return to Kailash with her. Kartikeya refuses to go with her. Kritikas ask what about them. Kartikeya apologizes them and says he will choose his own path and wants to go far away from them. He walks away while his mother watch him crying.
