MUMBAI: In Pushpa: The Rise, a sequel starring Allu Arjun, Samantha Ruth Prabhu captivated the audience with her captivating dancing in the song Oo Antava. However, it is rumored that Sreeleela, a young actress, may take Samantha Ruth Prabhu's place. There will reportedly be a special dance number in the sequel, and Sreeleela is anticipated to add her unique charm to the song.
Samantha gained recognition for her exceptional performance in Pushpa: The Rise, and reportedly received a substantial payment of Rs 5 lakh for her role in the song Oo Antava. Sreeleela has reportedly been offered an amount of Rs 2 crore to participate in Pushpa 2, and it has been reported that she has been chosen for the dance sequence. It's interesting to note that Sreeleela and Allu Arjun previously appeared together on film in an advertisement.
The much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule helmed by Sukumar, is slated for release on August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, among many others stars in the film. Fahadh Faasil is also in the cast. The film is being produced by Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings and is rumored to have cost Rs 500 crore. Devi Sri Prasad is the composer of the music; Karthika Srinivas and Ruben are the editors; Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is in charge of cinematography.
Sreeleela is currently appearing in Guntur Karam with Mahesh Babu and the rumoured addition to Pushpa 2. The Trivikram Srinivas-directed movie, which was released on January 12, 2024, has garnered a lot of praise and is now the highest-grossing Indian movie worldwide in 2024. Along with Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Ramya Krishna, and others, the film has an estimated budget of Rs 200 crore.
