Exclusive! Jasleen Singh on the response from the audience for his short film ADHD, “There were so many positive comments”

MUMBAI: "ADHD" is a short film centred around mental health awareness. The film was released on YouTube through the Content Keedas channel. The cast features Arsheen Namdar, Jasleen Singh, and Nilu Kohli.

The movie is directed by Shankar Arora, written by Shipra Arora and produced by Content Ka Keeda Films. Shipra Arora and Shivankar Arora are also the owners of the channel.

We don’t get to see a lot of movies focusing on the subject that we get to see here, which makes it even more important for the audience to watch. The short film was released a few days ago and has already got likes above a lac.

About the Short Film

To this, Jasleen Singh said that it is based on mental health and one of the mental health issues that are ADHD. He added that it is a worthwhile concept because in current times a lot of people suffer from mental health but don’t express it.

About his character

Jasleen Singh shared insights into his role, mentioning that he portrays Nilu Kohli's son in the movie. His character struggles with memory issues, forgetting things even when they are right in front of him. The constant negative remarks from his mother about being a loser and useless add to his challenges.

Audience reaction and expectations

To this, Jasleen Singh said that he loved how there were so many positive comments, appreciating the content and asking for more current-time-related content. He loved the appreciation he got for the short film and his character. He also added the fact that right after the release they crossed 1 lac views.
