MUMBAI: Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.

Previously, Kavya wants to become a good wife and daughter in law and will try to win the heart of her family with her hard work. Giriraj is adamant that the woman of his family should not work outside as he is against it.
Giriraj will be seen testing Kavya as he will ask her to make Prasad for pandits as its part of his family tradition. Kavya will also get a call from her office and has to leave urgently.
Kavya will be in tough spot as both the place she is required to be present.

In the upcoming episode, during Kavya and Adhiraj's reception, Omi spiked Rajiv's drink, leading to his embarrassing and humiliating situation on stage.
