MUMBAI: Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya's struggles to find a balance between her personal and professional lives for Adi, despite everyone putting obstacles in her way.

Currently, Kavya will come to know that Adiraj is going to fall in trouble as the New Commissioner is opening the old murder case against Adiraj. Things are going to get very serious and hence Kavya will go to Giriraj for help as she wants to save her husband at any cost.
Giriraj loves his son more than anything and hence the two will join hands to save Adiraj from going behind the bars. Giriraj will use his influence to get extra time from the cops to delay Adiraj’s arrest.
Kavya will use this time to prove Adiraj’s innocence.
