MUMBAI: Star Plus, a premier entertaining channel known to deliver extraordinary content and venture into unexplored territory, has brought its audience a new show, Jhanak. Hiba Nawab will be seen essaying the titular role of Jhanak in the show, along with Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh as the main protagonist, and Chandani Sharma will essay the character of Arshi in the show. The storyline takes a compelling twist as Anirudh, joined by Choton, orchestrates a plan to take Jhanak, leading to unexpected consequences.

Earlier, Jhanak was surprised to hear that Bipasha and Tanuja asked her to pack her bag and head to Kashmir. If Jhanak had changed her mind, Bipasha asks. Bipasha told her that Shubh would drop her at the bus stop so that she could return to Kashmir.
However, Anirudh was having fun at the party with Arshi. When others compliment Jhanak, he feels happy for her. Even though he was with the love of his life Arshi, he was constantly thinking about Jhanak and cherished the praise she was getting from others.
Now, As Jhanak has a bus at that time, Bipasha calls Arshi and tells her to stay engaged with Anirudh there until 7:00 AM. Once Shubh drops her off there, they could tell Anirudh that they are unaware of it.
Jhanak goes to the bus station in the morning after leaving the house. Shubh gives her some cash and a bus ticket while requesting that she should not make any contact with anyone.
However, Anirudh tells Arshi that it is not the appropriate moment for him to tell her about Jhanak right now. Anirudh interrupts and says that she does not behave like a sister to Jhanak when Arshi tells him that since Jhanak is her sister, she should know every aspect about her. When he says that, Arshi thinks it to be a great secret and that their marriage also relies on that. Hearing her remarks, Anirudh was taken aback.
