MUMBAI: There is finally an update on the much-anticipated Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan film Tiger Vs. Pathan. The Yash Raj Films-produced film, which suggests a civil war between Tiger and Pathaan, has long been speculated to be in the works. While viewers saw the two spies team up in Pathaan and Tiger 3, rumors have circulated that Salman and SRK may reconnect for an action-packed Tiger vs Pathaan. A recent story claims that the stars will return this summer to begin filming.

According to the popular news portal, Salman and Shah Rukh have agreed on an April filming schedule, and the film will be shot over the summer. “SRK and Salman have given their dates. As things stand today, the film should go on floors no later than April. The balanced cast is being decided. The other modalities are fast being worked out,” the insider revealed.
It's unknown whether Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will return to the franchise. Katrina portrayed Zoya in the Tiger series, whereas Deepika was introduced to the spy world as Rubina in Pathaan. It will also be intriguing to see if Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir in the film.
Last year, Salman appeared to confirm that Tiger vs Pathaan was in the works. In an interview with the popular news portal, Salman was asked about the timeframe for Tiger Vs Pathaan and when he would begin filming. “Tiger is always ready – so whenever things are locked – I will be there,” the Bollywood actor stated.
Siddharth Anand will reportedly direct Tiger vs. Pathaan. According to sources close to the popular news portal, the highly anticipated film would be a costly affair. The insider had previously revealed, “This film is mounted on a huge scale. As a result, its budget will be sky-high. Aditya Chopra and his team have locked the budget of Tiger vs Pathaan at Rs. 300 crores.”
