MUMBAI : Sargun Mehta is a known actress of television and she has been around in the industry for around more than a decade.
She debuted in the show 12/24 Karol Bagh which was a huge success and was part of many television shows.
The actress then ventured into Punjabi movies where she won many awards for her acting skills and two filmfare awards as well.
But today, she is known as an ace producer in the television industry.
She has produced shows like Udaariyaan, Swaran Ghar, Junooniyatt and Dalchini.
During her recent interview, she revealed how she had casted Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for her show Udaariyaan.

She said "I casted Priyanka while scrolling Instagram, where I saw one transformation reel of hers, that too at 6: 30 am in the morning. To cast Tejo was the biggest problem as no actress was fitting the bill. I called my team and told them to get in touch with her and she sent her audition. The moment I saw her, I knew she was Tejo and she came on board".
Well, there is no doubt that Udaariyaan made Priyanka Chahar Choudhary a household name and today, she has a massive fan following.
There is no doubt that Udaariyaan's star cast is one of the best ones and the audience loved watching them on screen.
