MUMBAI: Sony TV's show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya's struggles to find a balance between her personal and professional lives for Adi, despite everyone putting obstacles in her way.

Previously, Badi Amma will be seen challenging Kavya to prove that he is an ideal homemaker. Kavya will be asked to sleep on floor and have bath with cold water as as part of a fake ritual.
Later Badi Amma will also force Kavya to grind wheat with her own hands and make food for almost 21 priests. She will not allow Kavya to leave the house at any cost as she want to trap her and break her confidence.
In the upcoming episode, after waiting for twelve long years, Kavya finally found herself nearing the truth. Determined to uncover reality and bring justice to her sister's wrongdoer, she pledged to unveil the truth within a short time and punish the culprit.
