Ankit Mohan grabs a challenging role in a short film

Actor Ankit Mohan loves to pick up work that challenges the actor inside him. Earlier seen in fiction shows like Namak Haraam (Real TV), Basera (Imagine) Shobha Somnath Ki (Zee TV) and Ghar Aaja Pardesi (Sahara One), Ankit has now grabbed a chance to feature in a thought-provoking short film, titled ‘A Divorce to Remember’, which will be premiered at festivals. The short film will depict a very unusual story of three friends who study together. It will talk about the Muslim law which does not allow a divorced couple to get together again, till the time the girl is married to another person and divorces him. The short film is produced by designer Chandni and her friend Gauri Dubey. Talking about his experience shooting for the short film, Ankit tells Tellychakkar.com, “Chandni is a very good friend of mine; we have worked earlier in the movie Mausam where she was the designer. This short film produced by her is different because of its concept. I am glad that I am selected to work with such a great energetic team. It is a performance based story wherein I will get to test myself as Nadir, a dude from college who is flamboyant, a boy next door who is loved by Zaara unconditionally.” Ankit, we wish you all the very best for the short film!!!
