Pankaj Tripathi opens up on his 'Incomplete' dream; Says ‘Not taking a break…’

A National School of Drama pass-out, Pankaj Tripathi said that he is cherishing his dream of working in good content but, he also wishes to focus on his health and work a little less. He ended the conversation by saying that work-life balance is important.

MUMBAI : Among the most talented performers in Bollywood, Pankaj Tripathi has received praise for his performances in Gurgaon, Stree, Gangs of Wasseypur, and other movies. With numerous incredible accomplishments and honors to his name, he is now in need of a break that he hasn't had in a very long time.

Pankaj Tripathi revealed about living his dream, “No. After doing so much work I have realised that along with that dream, I had one more that I had completely forgotten about. It was taking a holiday and doing absolutely nothing. I got so busy that I realised that I was not taking a break."

Currently, he is in the limelight for the third season of the famous upcoming web series Mirzapur franchise directed by Gurmmeet Singh. Pankaj plays the role of Akhandanand Tripathi, also known as Kaleen Bhaiya, in the series and has won considerable applause for his impeccable acting skills.

Amazon Prime Video uploaded the poster of this series on Instagram that shows a throne burning in flames and some people lying dead beside it. The caption provided the gist of the third installment which says that Guddu and Golu are pitted against a new contender as they stake their claim to the throne. The third season will revolve around whether they manage to fight off this competitor or get defeated.

On March 19, Prime Video India released a trailer for the show, which showed Ali Fazal climbing stairs while carrying a rod. After this brief glance, we see Pankaj Tripathi, wearing a traditional dhoti kurta, sitting by a waterfall and contemplating on something.

The trailer also featured dramatic scenes in which Ali yells during car scenes, asking, "Bhool toh nahi gaye humein? (Did you forget us?)" as Pankaj Tripathi's character Kaleen Bhaiya. More returning actors, such as Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, and Isha Talwar, were hinted in the trailer.
