MUMBAI: Shark Tank India is one of the most loved and successful reality shows on television. After 2 successful seasons, the third season has now begun. In this season the sharks are Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Oyo Room, Founder and CEO of Zomato Deepinder Goyal, Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com) will be the judges of the show.

In the latest episode, founder Vikas Suri, pitches his snacks including gourmet popcorn flavours to the sharks. He reveals, “I am also called as the popcorn man of India” and asks for Rs 75 Lakhs for 7.5% equity.
Namita adds, “Me and my family go to movie theatre a lot. Our sons like the caramel flavour. My husband and I love the butter ones. But yes, even at home while watching movies, you need the same kind of experience.”
Anupam says, “Coffee and popcorn are two things I feel shouldn’t be flavoured. I make popcorns for my daughter, they are for Rs 10-15. These are made for Valentine's Day.”
Namita meanwhile is excited to find sprinklers while going through his products and says, “Why didn’t you talk about this? This is your biggest thing… sprinklers. Main America jaake ye leke aati hu. This is amazing. I am taking this.”
While Anupama, Namita and others are not happy with the numbers, Piyush tries to talk about the same and Vikas says, “Shhh… not that.” Vineeta and others point out, “Inhone chup kara diya.”
A furious Anupam says, “Bhai saab aap kis liye aye ho yaha. Aap the Vikas Suri ho, the Vikas Suri, who knows everything. 3 saal hogaye hum yaha baethe huye, aapko pata hai? Hum kya karte hai kuch idea hai aapko? Aapne aake Shark ko ekdum chup kara diya. Aapne kahan Shhh…”
Piyush meanwhile reacts, “It’s ok. Umar me bade hai,” Anupam further lashes out, “Nahi umar ki baat nahi hai. Seat ki izzat hoti hai yaar. Aap jabse aye hai, aap bade bade statements de rahe hai. Aapke answers itne vague hai. Aap clear nahi bata rahe ho. Aapne aapka naam itni baar le lia. Main aaj tak naam nahi suna aapka. Hamare paas kyu aaye ho? Hum yaha paise daalte hai, thoda experience hai, woh share karte ha, kuch doors khol dete hai. Saath me hum kuch seekh bhi jaate hai. Aapse milke lag raha hai aap me learning agility aur humility toh hai hi nahi.
While all sharks opts out only Namita offers Rs 75 lakh for 15% equity + 3% royalty until Rs 75 lakh is recouped. Vikas takes the offer.
