MUMBAI: It was the interesting character graph that got actor Mohit Sonkar on board with the show Shravani. The actor, who plays the role of Shivansh in the Do Dooni 4 Films production, says that it’s a pleasure to be associated with the show as it completes 250 episodes.

“Whenever a show is successful, it’s thanks to the teamwork of the actors, producers, crew working non-stop. I wish the whole team good luck and we hope to get the show more successful,” he says.

Talking about his character, he says, “Shivansh has different shades to his personality. It’s a mixture of a heroic role, with a grey shade. He is romantic, comic and is negative initially. I tried to perform the way the character has been written. Whenever I play plays a role, I try to connect it with my real life. I am from Uttar Pradesh, so the way my character talks is very similar to how people talk in UP.”

Talking about working with producers Ravindra Gautam and Raghuvir Shekhawat, he says, “The experience has been incredible as our producer is so well connected to us. He tells us about our performances, and that so important for an actor. It’s nice to know that our producer believes in us and gives us such a boost. The friendly and family like behaviour of both the producers towards us is so heartwarming. Both of them are such great human beings and it makes me think why I didn't work for them earlier.”
