The Great Indian Kapil Show: Sunil Grover breaks silence on his 7-year-long feud with Kapil Sharma, ‘We came up with the idea of a fight…’

MUMBAI: Kapil Sharma is known to be one of the most loved actors/comedians of our time. His humour and comic timing has won him fans from all walks of life. The actor’s popular talk show The Kapil sharma Show is also one of the most loved and is usually on the top when it comes to TV ratings. Earlier Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s Feud which started on a flight started doing the rounds but seems like they have buried the hatchet.

Fans will be excited to know that Sunil and Kapil will be reuniting after 6 years for The Great Indian Kapil Show. After many years,  Sunil has now broken his silence over the feud that lasted nearly 7 years. He said, “Actually, hum log flight mein baithe the 6 saal pehle, humko aisa tha ki ab Netflix India mein aa raha hai. Toh humlo laga ki television ki audience ko baandh ke rakhne ke liye kuch karna padega, jo publicity stunt ho. Iss show ke launch ke liye. That’s how we came up with the idea of a fight as a publicity stunt.”

Even though this was simply a joke from Sunil’s side, it is interesting to hear Sunil’s side of the story in a humorous way. It is especially relevant that the theme of The Great Indian Kapil Show will be flights and airports.

Apart from Sunil Grover, the show will also feature Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek and Rajiv Thakur. The first guests on the show will be Ranbir Kapoor, mother Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima Kapoor.

The first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will stream on Netflix from 30th March at 8:00PM.
