After doing several commercials and a weekly show Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein, Suhasi Garodia is now headed South. Like many of her ilk Suhasi too has signed on some South Indian films. She has just completed one Kannada and one Telugu film both of which will soon release. As she is eyeing Bollywood Suhasi has kept a low profile on the small screen. She has shied away from accepting more work as she also wants to save time for ads and movies down south.
Being a Gujarati how did she manage to overcome the language barrier? “Language is a big hindrance. Acting in a south Indian movie is far more difficult than acting in a Hindi serial. Even when it comes to communicating with people on the sets, I have to first look for a translator,” she replied.
Talking on her Kannada film titled Hagy Sumane, she said, “It is a romantic love story directed by Pritam Gubby and produced by Dharma pictures. The male lead, Kiran is also making his debut with this film. Kiran was earlier seen in TV commercials. It was amazing shooting for the film as we shot the scenes mostly on mountain regions. Locations were beautiful. The movie is going to release this year but the month of release is not decided.”
The Telugu film is VaadeKaavali which again is a love story which Suhasi doesn’t wish to talk much about.
