MUMBAI: Allu Arjun is working hard to wrap up filming Pushpa 2. This year is the film's scheduled release date, and director Sukumar is getting ready for what promises to be an enormous cinematic experience. Although the movie is being kept very secret, we do know that the producers shot a six-minute scene for around Rs 60 crore, and it took 30 days to finish. The insiders claim that there is a battle scene and a performance by Gangamma Jatara in this scene.
As per the reports, Pushpa 2 has a budget of Rs 500 crore. The film has already sold worldwide music rights and Hindi satellite rights to T-Series for Rs 60 crore. It is also said that Star Maa has acquired the Telugu satellite rights. The amount is still unknown. Meanwhile, it is reported that Netflix has brought digital streaming rights by paying Rs 100 crore. The makers have yet to address these claims.
Earlier this week, fans were treated to the first teaser of Pushpa 2. Directed by Sukumar, the team released the first teaser of Pushpa 2 on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday. Allu Arjun shared the teaser on X and wrote, “I thank each and everyone of you for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please take this teaser as my way of saying thank you!”
Allu Arjun released his first-look poster for Pushpa 2 last year. It featured him wearing a saree and had blue and red makeup on his face. Later on, the movie's look poster featuring Fahadh Faasil was also made public. Rashmika's first look from the movie was also released by its makers earlier this month on her birthday. Pushpa 2 is rumored to feature a special cameo by Sanjay Dutt as well. As of right now, though, there has been no formal confirmation of this.
