MUMBAI : Mouli Ganguly is a talented artist.
She has been a part of innumerable projects and is best known for her work in Kahin Kisi Roz. In an exclusive conversation, Mouli shed light on her career and how it was shooting for television shows back then as compared to now.
Mouli said, “Back in the days I used to shoot a lot more than I do now. I am a person who is passionate about my work but I am not a workaholic. So I like to take breaks and work and the work pressure is a lot. I have started my career doing commercials and I do not have the pressure that if I won’t be seen then it’s not good. I believe in working at ease. “
Comparing the pressure of shooting and being visible as compared to before, Mouli shared, “During that time we all were straight out of college and we came from very humble backgrounds. We used to sit in one room only and share laughs and food. We used to work hard but at that time there wasn’t too much social media presence and the pressures that come with it like being very active in that space. I think everything has a phase and we used to work on very tight schedules.
I have learnt many things in my career and to top it all I had Sudha Chandran, my co-actor as my guide and mentor. It has been beautiful. However, I would not work in the same fashion anymore, I have lived that phase already.”
