MUMBAI: Nawazuddin Siddiqui's supporters were shocked when his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui revealed the problems in their marriage.
The popular film actor's wife and producer made numerous accusations, one of which was that Siddiqui's brother had molested a minor in 2012 and that the Bollywood actor was among the family members who had supported him. There has recently been news of a new development in the case.

The Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and four other members of his family were the targets of a molestation allegation filed by TV personality and producer Aaliya Siddiqui about ten years ago at the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. She stated in the FIR that while the others had backed Siddiqui's brother Minazuddin, he had reportedly molested a minor family member in 2012.
After investigating the matter, the police filed a final report in the case and gave a clean chit to the actor and his family in the matter last year, reported IANS. Soon after, Judge Ritesh Sachdeva asked the complainant to appear before the POCSO court and respond to the report filed by the investigating officers.
But she failed to appear in front of the court despite being given multiple opportunities and notices. Hence, the court finally accepted the police report and gave a clean chit to the Gangs of Wasseypur actor and his four other family members, stated PTI.
Aaliya sent a heartfelt video on social media over three weeks ago, wishing Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his 14th wedding anniversary. Adorable family portraits of Aaliya and Nawazuddin with their two children can be found in the post. Posting the video, she wrote, “Celebrating 14 years of wedded bliss with my one and only. Anniversary cheers.”
She publicly insulted the actor on social media and made some shocking accusations against him before posting. After seeing the video, many speculated that Nawaz and Aaliya may have finally made up after going through a difficult period in their relationship. Regarding work, the actor from Sacred Games will be next seen in Section 108.
