Abhilash Kumar to play a bully in "Gabru Gang", says, “ it’s weird to be on the other side of the coin. I am no way like my character in reality.”

MUMBAI: Actor Abhilash Kumar is set to showcase his versatility in the upcoming movie Gabru Gang, where he portrays a complex and layered character that challenges his usual on-screen persona.

Best known for his role as the lead antagonist opposite Sunny Deol in "Ghayal Once Again," Abhilash is now gearing up for his next cinematic venture, "Gabru Gang." In this film, he steps into the shoes of a bully, a character with many layers and shades of grey.

Speaking about his role in "Gabru Gang," Abhilash revealed, "It was kind of weird playing a bully. I remembered my school days and tried to portray it in this movie." He opened up about his own experiences of being bullied in school due to his lean physique, highlighting the irony of now playing a bully himself. "This character is totally opposite of how I am as a person," he added, emphasizing the challenge of portraying such a complex character.

Gabru Gang revolves around the world of kite flying, offering a unique cinematic experience that has drawn comparisons to the cult classic Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.It is one of the first film to be made on kite flying in India. Abhilash's portrayal of the bully adds depth to the narrative, promising audiences an intriguing exploration of character dynamics.
