However, things were different this time. A designer from India created history by walking down the red carpet. This is the first time an Indian designer got ready for the biggest fashion event of the year on his own. Let's see the questions around this designer's identity and the outfit he wore to the event.
In 2024, the highly esteemed designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee made history by being the first Indian designer to walk the Met Gala red carpet. The person is skilled at drawing attention to himself. Sabyasachi is an expert at taking a basic color and making the greatest use of it.
He accessorized his white shirt with a golden buckle belt and beige trousers. By matching the ensemble with an embroidered jacket and an abundance of jewelry, the designer gave his appearance a touch of majesty. Using the tanned shoes, Sabyasachi created a striking contrast to his ensemble. Sunglasses of wine colour finished off his look.
Sabyasachi's official handle wrote, "SABYASACHI MUKHERJEE AT THE MET GALA. As the galloping horde of mechanization, modernization, and uniformity march ever closer; it is craft, that embodiment of human touch, tradition and diversity that will safeguard culture from the passage of time."
Describing the designer’s outfit, "Sabyasachi wears an embroidered cotton duster coat from the Sabyasachi Resort 2024 collection layered with tourmalines, pearls, emeralds and diamonds from Sabyasachi High Jewellery."
In the post, a user commented, "The Lord hath arrived." "Now this is called a perfect swag," said another. "One of the best fashion designers of the world from India in the Met Gala event.... This is the absolute moment!" An individual cherishes the moment.
