MUMBAI: The much-awaited K-drama 'High School Return of a Gangster' has revealed its first images and has given fans a depiction of the character of Yoon Chan Young. He will be playing the role of two varied characters. The K-drama is set to release on May 29 and the genre will be related to fantasy. When fans saw the stills release on May 16, they could not keep calm. Yoon Chan Young is known for playing dual characters with a lot of ease and in the show he will be essaying the timid Song Yi Heon, who is a high-schooler and Kim Deuk Pal who is a bold and outspoken 47-year-old gangster.
The pictures that went viral online show Yoon Chan Young's transformation between two strikingly different characters. Song Yi Heon is shown with long, tousled hair and, a sad look which shows the life of a teenager facing torture. This character is shown to be vulnerable and deals with issues like bullying in school.
While Yoon Chan as Kim Deuk Pal is fierce and intense. His eyes speak a million words, are piercing and have a commanding aura. His character as a seasoned gangster is shown to be tough, assertive, and strong which Yoon delivers flawlessly. It is interesting to note that with the roles of Song Yi Heon and Kim Deuk Pal, Yoon is shown to showcase his contrasting characters and also proves his versatility as an actor. 'High School Return of a Gangster' promises to captivate fans as Yoon's characters are complicated with messy personalities. Fans are waiting for the premiere so that they can see their favourite Yoon.
