MUMBAI : Famous for being a well-liked figure in the entertainment industry, Varun Sood has a sizable devoted fan base. The actor has been active on social media, and startled fans recently by disclosing that he had received a concussion diagnosis. He announced this information and said he would be unavailable for a few days on social media.
Varun Sood has a huge 1.5 million Instagram followers. He posted a letter on Instagram informing his fans and followers about his traumatic brain injury. Varun posted on his Instagram story, saying, "Hey, I have a concussion. Won't be able to respond to any messages, been told to avoid screen time. I'll be back soon!"
For the unaware, a concussion is a mild injury to the brain that disrupts how the brain normally works. Usually, it's caused by a fall or hit on the head or by violent shaking. Concussion in other words is called mild traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Varun Sood has participated in multiple reality shows and amassed a great deal of success and recognition. He is well-liked by many and has won the hearts of many with his charming and genuine nature throughout the years. Varun has been in several reality TV programs, including Ace of Space, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, Roadies: Real Heroes, and others. He has been in web series such as Call Me Bae and Karmma Calling.
Speaking about his personal life, Varun Sood dated Divya Agarwal for four years before they broke up in March 2022. Back then, the two issued a statement announcing that they were no longer dating each other.
“Life is such a circus! Try n keep everyone happy, expect nothing that’s true but what happens when the self-love starts declining ?? No I don’t blame anyone for anything that’s happening to me…I feel worked up .. and that’s okay .. I want to breathe n live for myself .. that’s okay! I hereby formally declare that I’m on my own in this life and would like to take my time to live the way I want to!” the statement read.
Apurva Padgaonkar and Divya fell in love after a few months, and in December 2022, they got engaged. Online rumors regarding Varun and his co-star Namrata Sheth being in a relationship during the filming of Karmma Calling. It's unclear if the two are officially dating or if there are just rumors.
