MUMBAI : The most famous and successful father-son filmmaker duo is Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra. From Yash's super hit films such as Kabhi Kabhie, Chandni, Veer-Zaara, and Silsila to Aditya's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Mohabbatein, the Chopras gave given us some of the most hit and commendable films in the industry.

The father son duo has directed many popular faces of the industry such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher and many more. Despite all this, there is only one actress who has been directed by both Yash and Aditya Chopra. She had made her debut as a lead actress in Aditya Chopra’s film and later played a supporting role in Yash Chopra’s film. The actress is none other than Anushka Sharma.
She made her acting debut in 2008 in the romantic drama Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was helmed by Aditya Chopra. She is the lead actress of the movie and played the role of Taani Sahni and received the nomination in the Filmfare Awards for Best Female Debut.
In 2012, the actress was cast as an supporting actor where she played a role of Akira Rai in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which was released a couple of weeks after Yash Chopra's death. The actress went on to win the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, her only win at the Filmfare Awards till now in her career. The interesting fact is in both the movies Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anushka was paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
On the work front, Anushka is all set for her upcoming release Chakda Xpress, the biopic of the former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The sports drama is directed by Prosit Roy, who directed Anushka in the 2018 for Pari.
