Baahubali fame Sathyaraj to be cast as Villain in Salman Khan's Sikandar?

On Eid 2024, the actor stated that he had locked the Eid window for next year for his upcoming project alongside AR Murugadoss and also unveiled the title of the film. Rashmika Mandanna will be featured in the lead role.

MUMBAI: Salman Khan has increased fan excitement following the announcement of his upcoming movie Sikandar. On Eid 2024, the actor stated that he had locked the Eid window for next year for his upcoming project alongside AR Murugadoss and also unveiled the title of the film. Rashmika Mandanna will be featured in the lead role. However, as per the speculation of reports that Baahubali fame Sathyaraj is all set to play the villain role.

The villain in Salman Khan's upcoming film Sikandar is speculated to be portrayed by South Indian actor Sathyaraj, according to a recent interview with journalist turned producer Chithra Laksmanan. Salman posted the title slate on Instagram, which read, “Sajid Nadiadwala presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar.”

Sharing the title, Salman gave a shoutout to this year’s Eid releases, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan. “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”

In a recent interview with the popular news portal, A R Murugadoss teased the film. He said, “In addition to high-octane action sequences, it will be packed with emotions and also carry a powerful social message. It will be a pan-India film. Audiences can expect to see a new kind of Salman Khan in this film.”

He added, “Salman and I had discussed this project five years ago, but due to circumstances, we couldn’t proceed at that time. Recently, he asked for another narration. After that, he said that the script gave him a good vibe and asked if we could start working on it immediately.”

Meanwhile, the popular news portal had revealed that Sikander “will be shot in Portugal and other European countries apart from some portions in India on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, making it the most ambitious film of Sajid Nadiadwala.”
