MUMBAI : The dismissal of Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been a topic of much discussion. Allegations have been made, and cryptic posts have been made amid the mudslinging around the two celebrities' ouster from the popular show.
The announcement by Rajan Shahi that Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Dhami were leaving YRKKH shocked the Indian television industry. He said that Shehzada threw tantrums at the statement and even misbehaved with the crew, accusing them of being unprofessional.
Anupamaa producer said that he was unhappy with Pratiksha's growth in her character and hence, she was fired from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
A few days following Shehzada Dhami's version of the story, Samridhii Shukla talked candidly about her decision to remain mute on the matter. The actress portraying Abhira, disclosed the reason behind her silence over her co-stars' controversial departure from the show.
Samridhii Shukla reportedly stated that she thinks she should refrain from saying anything bad if she is unable to contribute anything positive, according to a story in the well-known news outlet. "There are things that happened in the show and there is always a reason why such steps are taken, but I will contribute to a sinking ship," she said in her interview.
Following their exit from the program, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were replaced as Armaan and Ruhi, respectively, by Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani. Samridhii Shukla continued portraying Abhira on the program in the meantime.
