It's basically a musical love story: Shivangi Verma on Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor

MUMBAI: Shivangi Verma will soon be seen in Atrangii’s "Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor". The show will go on air June 7, and she said it is a passionate love story.

“Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor, as the name says, is an intense, passionate love story. It is deep, it's all about love. It's basically a musical love story; and it's just about love,” she said.

Shivangi also shared her views on bold scenes these days that are common in web series. She said executing such scenes depends a lot on the co-actor, and she did not face any problems as far as being comfortable was concerned.

“Yes, I have done it, and honestly, I was very comfortable because it totally depends on your co-actor as well, and I was totally blessed with it. He was really comfortable to work with; in fact, he made me comfortable, and the director, the producer, and everybody else were there on the set, and they kind of created an environment to make both of us feel comfortable, so it was not like a zabardasti, but it was part of the story, and we did it smoothly and beautifully, and I am sure the audience will love it because they enjoyed doing it, so it was great,” she said.

She further shared that the shooting went like a breeze. She said, “It was really interesting to meet the cast; it was interesting to shoot the story with them, and we did the entire shoot outdoors, so we were in Igatpuri, and we had a great time; we had a blast. We used to shoot, and then we used to chill together. I think all these were really interesting for me.”

She is all praise for the channel and the channel heads, and she calls herself a big fan of them. “When I started working, I got the chance to meet Nivedita Basu and Vibhu Agrawal, who own the Atrangii channel. I think they are wonderful people to work with,” she said.

What are your expectations from the show? “In December 2023, when I was in the States, I got a call from Kadambari, the creative. She explained to me about the show; she told me about the cast and all of it related to the show, so I was pretty interested and excited because I really liked the story, and for that, I traveled from the States to India. So my expectations are big because the story is really empowering, it is so relatable, and it is going to give you goosebumps,” she said.

“We have done a lot of hard work, the trailer has been out already, and people are already loving my character. The show is releasing on June 7th, so I am looking forward to it. I have gotten a lot of DMs and have gotten a lot of appreciation, so I have a strong feeling that it is going to do good and big,” she ended.
