MUMBAI : One of the highly anticipated movies in the south film industry is Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa. The teaser of this movie which is of the fantasy genre was revealed at the Cannes Film Festival, earlier, this year. Vishnu had taken to X to reveal the official date of the Kannappa teaser.
Manchu had posted a mystical poster of the film and revealed the teaser date of the movie. "After an overwhelming reception at Cannes, I am thrilled to share the teaser for this epic tale, 'Kannappa', with you on June 14. . This film holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to welcome you all to the captivating world of #Kannappa".
Talking about his experience in Cannes Manchu said in a statement, "We showcased the teaser of Kannappa in Cannes, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response! International distributors, local Indians, and everyone who saw it absolutely loved it. I am excited and have butterflies in my stomach after witnessing such fantastic reactions".

Well, it was on May 20 that Vishnu with Mohan Babu and Prabhu Deva attended and represented the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Vishnu was glad about the response he had got on the stage. Talking about Kannappa, the film has been directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. The stellar cast, apart from Manchu also includes Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhoo, Sarathkumar, Prabhu Deva, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, and Kaushal Manda. The movie also has Prabhas and Akshay Kumar in pivotal roles. The mythological movie will be in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
