Farah Khan recalls Pooja Bedi's Mishap during 'Pehla Nasha' shoot; Says ‘Poora skirt gaya uske sir ke upper…’

MUMBAI: Farah Khan has much to share about her experiences working with Bollywood stars and actresses. She's witnessed a lot of mistakes and embarrassing celebrity moments. However, while working with Pooja Bedi on the song 'Pehla Nasha' from the 1990s movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Farah Khan revealed an unexpected incident. According to Farah, the director and choreographer, Pooja had a very difficult time during the shoot.

Recently, Farah Khan talked about her experience filming alongside Pooja Bedi in an interview with the well-known entertainment site. She claimed that when she requested Pooja to stand on a car, she had to hold her skit because a fan would blow on her. However, Pooja didn't remember to hold onto the skirt, and it flew over her head. The spot boy who was in charge of the fan fainted.

Farah sad, "Usko gadi ke uper khada hona tha, vo skirt hum logo ne Merilyn Monoroe ka dress pehnaya tha usko. Pooja being Pooja, she is bindaas, so she climbed up aur neeche ek bada fan rakh ke ek spot boy aise baitha tha. Mai ne Pooja ko bola tha ki jab fan aayega na toh Pooja ko kaha tha aise Merilyn Monoroe pose mein aise haath rkh ke skirt pakad le. So first jaise fan on hua Pooja ne pakda nai vo poora skirt gaya uske sir ke uper, spot boy faint hogya udher. And that is the first time I saw what a thong looks like."

Pooja Bedi recounted a terrifying experience when a man broke into her house on The Kapil Sharma Show. She mentioned that back then, there was no internet and people would really contact you directly. She also revealed that, because Anais-Anais was the name of her beloved perfume, she had met a mad man who continued to call by that name.

Pooja continued he was strange and would call her ten thousand times a day. The actress went on to say that he frequently wrote notes with blood. Pooja revealed that she tried to track him down but despite her best efforts, he was smart. Pooja also revealed that one day, he broke into her house while carrying her Lootera bikini. She revealed that he continued in troubling her till she got married.

She stated, "My bikini from Lootera was auctioned, and he bought it, when asked why he bought it he said, "I could hug her bikini if not her". I sat him down and tried to make him understand calmly, but he troubled me for the longest time till I got married."

On May 6, 1994, Pooja Bedi got married to Farhan Furniturewalla. Before getting married, the pair had dated for three and a half years. The actress reportedly converted to Islam to ensure their children would have no difficulties. However, the couple's twelve-year relationship ended in divorce. On Valentine's Day in 2003, they got divorced.
